CBSE UGC NET Results 2018 December : CBSE has successfully conduct the UGC NET December exam on July 08, 2018 at various examination centres in all across India Country. The total exam is conducted for 83 subjects at 89 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country. The exam is conducted in various states like AP, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, etc. Huge number of eligible and interested candidates applied for the Test and also appeared in the examination hall. The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. Minimum Marks Required to obtain for selection

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Further Selection Process : PROCEDURE & CRITERIA FOR DECLARATION OF RESULT:

This will comprise of following steps:

Step I: Minimum marks to be obtained in NET for considering a candidate for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor:

The candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper –III as given below:

PAPER – I 40 (40%) 35 (35%)
PAPER – II 40 (40%) 35 (35%)
PAPER– III 75 (50 %) 60 (40 %)

Step II: Amongst those candidates who have cleared step I, a merit list will be prepare subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.
Step III: Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step II, will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
Step IV: A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared from amongst the NET qualified candidates figuring in the merit list prepared under step III.

It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria decided by UGC/CBSE is final and binding.

CBSE UGC NET Results 2018 along with Cut Off List: UGC NET Results and Cut off Marks announced by CBSE on their official website. Also CBSE decide Minimum Qualifying Marks obtained by candidates in UGC NET July/ July Exam. So Organisation set the Minimum Marks Required to obtain for selection according to category wise/ reservation system. Candidates who belongs to General category should get 40% marks in first two papers and 50% marks in paper 3. Candidates who belongs to other categories should get minimum 35% marks in first two papers and 40% marks in the third paper. Candidate who successfully qualify the cut off marks then A merit list will be prepared according to subject & Category wise.

Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step II, will be declared National Eligibility Test qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. By basis of these marks, they will prepare merit list, after making the list they will select top 15% candidates will select separately for the post of assistant professor and junior research fellow. They will call that 15% aspirants and decide the results.

UGC NET 2018 Merit List

After the declaration of UGC NET Result 2018 for July Session, the exam conducting body will prepare a merit list. The preparation of the merit list is on the basis of the aggregate marks of all the three papers as secured by the aspirants. Also, a separate merit list will be prepared for the award of JRF amongst the qualifiers of NET.

CBSE UGC NET Qualifying Marks and Cut Off

Those candidates who get marks in the exam more than the qualifying / cut off marks of CBSE UGC NET, will be eligible for further steps to be in the merit list.

CBSE UGC NET Result

Candidates who satisfy the above criteria (clearing cut off marks), a merit list will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

  • Of those in the merit list thus prepared, for each subject and category Top 15% candidates from the merit list will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
  • A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared from among the NET qualified candidates figuring in the merit list prepared above.

CBSE UGC NET Exam Pattern/ Scheme

CBSE Conducts Examination for various subjects like economics, political science, philosophy, psychology, sociology, history, anthropology, commerce, education, social work, home science, public administration, Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Manipuri, Gujarati, tourism, human rights etc. The total exam is conducted for 350 marks. In paper 1 total 60 questions are given in that 50 questions should attempt in duration of 1 and ¼ hour, paper 2 is conducted for 100 marks, all questions should be attempted in the duration of 1 and ¼ hours, paper 3 is conducted for 75 questions for 150 marks in the duration of 2 and ½ hours.

National Eligibility Test (NET)

CBSE UGC NET Results 2018 for 27th July 2018: On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Month of December, June/ July for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country.
