The admit card for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced has been released on the official website. The candidates who had successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) and had registered themselves for the advanced examination, can now download their admit cards.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) scheduled to conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2017 examination on 21st May 2017 at prearranged Examination centres in all across India. About 1.5 lakh Students who had qualified in the JEE Mains registered for the JEE Advanced 2017 examination. The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:

About Question Papers

  • There are two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each. Both papers are compulsory.
  • Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The question papers will consist of objective type (multiple choice and numerical answer type) questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
  • Negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions.
  • The candidates must carefully read and adhere to the detailed instructions given in the question paper.
  • The question paper will be in either English or Hindi. Candidates must exercise the choice of question paper language while registering for JEE (Advanced) 2017. Change of question paper language will NOT be entertained after the registration.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2015 (JoSAA 2015) conducted the joint admission process for a total of 18 IITs, ISM Dhanbad, 32 NITs, 18 IIITs and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 [JEE (Advanced) 2017] will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs and the ISM. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2017 and admission to IITs and ISM.
