This year, 11,279 seats are on offer at 23 IITs across the country. Total 155158 students appeared in JEE Advance 2018, 18138 students have qualified the JEE advanced.

Examination will be held on May 20, 2018. The entire JEE (Advanced) 2018 Examination will be conducted in fully computer based test mode. The exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours’ duration, and will be held in two sessions. Both the papers are compulsory.

The results of Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) examinations (2018) have been declared on the official website of JEE Advanced 2018, www.jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates can now check the results by logging in on to the candidate portal.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) is an entry for admissions to architecture programs offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. Candidates who want to seek admission to these programs have to qualify first at JEE Advanced and then have to clear the AAT examination.

JEE Advanced Results 2018 Roll No Wise/ Name Wise: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), IIT Guahati has successfully conducted the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2018 examination i.e., on 20th May 2018 at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Paper 1 & 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Paper 2. JEE Adv 2018 Exam held various prearranged examination centres in all across India. A Huge number of eligible & interested candidates who are looking for the admissions into Undergraduate Engineering Programs at IIITs, ISM Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions applied and appeared for the examination.

After Display of ORS, All Candidates who had attend the Offline Test of JEE Advanced 2018 are eagerly waiting for their results. Around two lakh students on May 20 appeared for the JEE (Advanced) examination. Now organisation is going to announce JEE Advanced 2018 result on 10th June 2018 at 10 AM.

The IITs announced the JEE (Advanced) results on Sunday morning as per their schedule. In all, 36,566 of the 1.47 lakh aspirants, who appeared for the test held on May 20, have qualified in the examination. Of the students who qualified, 4,570 are girls.

  • There were two papers in the JEE (Advanced) in which the students appeared.
  • Nearly two lakh candidates had cleared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main-2018 to appear for JEE (Advanced). The results of JEE Advanced were declared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the month of April.
  • 1,98,228 candidates had cleared the JEE (Main) examination which was held both online and offline in 132 cities.
  • Nearly 12 lakh candidates had taken this exam of which 19,820 have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) Online while 1,78,408 candidates have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) offline test.

JEE Advanced Result Analysis MORE NEWS

Last Year, Duggani Jeevithiesh from Vijaywada topped the students who appeared from the OBC category, Chinmay Awale from Navi Mumbai topped in the SC category, Chaithanya Naik from Punganur in the ST category and Hari Prasad K from Guntur topped the physically disabled category.

From the IIT-Bombay zone, 8,810 students qualified, highest among the seven zones, followed by 6,702 from IIT-Madras zone, and 5,941 from the IIT-Delhi zone. This year, with the addition of four new IITs, the total number of seats has gone up to 10,575 from last year’s 10,006.

AAT Registration

JEE (Adv) 2018 qualified candidates who are desirous of choosing architecture programs at IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee must qualify Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT 2018). Such candidates must register for AAT 2018 on the candidate portal before 05:00 PM on 11-June-2018.
AAT 2018 will be conducted on 14-June-2018 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM at zonal IITs only.

Qualifying Criteria for JEE (Advanced) 2018

The total marks obtained in Mathematics will be the marks awarded for Mathematics in
Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry will also be
calculated in the same way. The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the
marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the
subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.
Maximum aggregate marks: 372 (186 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)
Maximum marks in Physics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)
Maximum marks in Chemistry: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)
Maximum marks in Mathematics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2)

JEE (Advanced) 2018: Number of Qualified Candidates, Summary of Number of Candidates, Qualifying Marks, Rank List Name Wise/ City Town.

Rank Lists

Only candidates who appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking.

The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be equal to the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 2. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way.

The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2018 is the sum of the marks awarded to him/her in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2018.

If the aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks:

Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Rank lists for preparatory courses (see Preparatory Courses ) will be prepared for SC, ST candidates and PwD candidates in all categories who satisfy the prescribed relaxed criteria given below.

A candidate who qualifies in more than one category will be considered in all the categories to which he/she belongs for the purpose of ranking.

There will be no waiting list for ranking.

Only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate will be included in the rank list. The minimum prescribed marks varies with the category. These are as shown in the following table.

  • Individual rank cards will NOT be sent to candidates.
  • Obtaining a rank in JEE (Advanced) 2018 does not guarantee admission to IITs or ISM.
