The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the results for the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test(NEET) undergraduate programme 2018 on its official website,

Candidates must obtain cut off marks in NEET 2018 Result in order to qualify. The minimum marks required are 50th percentile in NEET for general category, 40thpercentile for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th percentile for unreserved-PH category. You can first note the important dates from here.

CBSE NEET Results 2018

NEET Result 2018 will be announced by CBSE on June 06, 2018.  The result of NEET 2018 will be announced on and However, the candidates will also be able to check it from this page. Along with the NEET 2018 Merit List, the board will also issue a wait list. Both the list will be prepared under the directives of DGHS, MCI, and DCI.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted written examination (OMR Sheet based Test) of All India Pre-medical/Pre-dental Entrance test-2018 for Admission to MBBS/ BDS courses at various examination centres all across in the country.

All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test – 2018 has been conducted on Sunday, the May 6, 2018 from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm. The duration of test would be 3 hours. Recently Organisation has issued notification for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test, AIPMT 2018 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses Under 15% All India Quota seats and also for seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions in the academic session 2018-18.

NEET(UG) – 2018 Result Publishing Date

Over 14 Lakhs students registered for this examination while 13,26,725 candidates who had appeared for the exam on May 6, 2018. This exam has been conducted in 10 languages at 1921 exam centres in 103 cities. The exam was conducted in Hindi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.

For smooth conduction of the examination, 490 CBSE officials were deployed to the exam centres to personally supervise the examination alongwith 3,500 observers and city coordinators from CBSE affiliated schools.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, by a June 2016 ordinance, amended the Medical Council of India Act and Dental Council of India Act and made the provision for integrated NEET for UG admissions for 95,000 seats (65,000 MBBS &25,000 BDS) in all government medical colleges, private medical colleges and deemed universities in the entire country.

Attach printer to computer and insert plain white sheet of paper in it. Ensuring that printer settings are appropriate, print Results.

NEET(UG) – 2018

NEET Results with Rank List, NEET All India Rank : As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 as amended in 2016 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2016, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) – 2018 [NEET(UG)-2018] will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The NEET (UG)-2018 will be conducted on Sunday, the 7th May, 2018. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.

NEET 2018 Merit List Tie Break

Below are the measures adopted for the tie breaking procedure

  • The candidate having better marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will get better rank
  • After the Biology, the marks of the Chemistry will be considered and the candidates possessing higher marks in the subject will be given preference.
  • Candidates with less number of incorrect answers in all the subjects of test will be considered first.
  • If both the above measures did not break the tie, the candidate older in age will be allocated better rank
